Riding Engagement – Little Fined

Has right of Appeal against the penalty imposed

The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa (NHA) confirms that at an Inquiry held in Gqeberha on Friday, 04 April 2025, Jockey C Little was charged with a contravention of Rule 21.13.

The particulars being that he failed to fulfil his riding engagement on TREASURE HUNT in Race 8 at Fairview Racecourse on 21 March 2025.

Jockey Little pleaded guilty and was found guilty of the charge.

After reviewing all the evidence presented, and taking into account Jockey Little’s record concerning this Rule, a penalty of a fine of R1,000 (One Thousand Rand) was imposed.

Jockey Little was given the Right of Appeal against the penalty imposed.
