R5 Million Pick 6 Likely Today

First due off @ 11h30

There was no overnight rain and thus the stage is set for an exciting twelve-race programme at Turffontein on the Standside course this afternoon.

There is a R1 million Pick 6 carryover with a likely pool of R5 million. The exotic starts in the fourth  @ 13h15.

There are four Grade 1 races on this card.

It is an early start to the day with the first due off at 11h30, so be sure to get your free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge selections in at least 5 minutes before the first is off.

Trainer Mike de Kock – set for a good day  (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Whispering Death from the Mike and Mathew de Kock stable takes his place in Race 1.

He caught the eye when winning over 1450m on the Inside course, at the second time of asking.

The son of Danon Platina won a lot easier than the official margin suggests.

He will love the rise to 1600m and from pole position, he should follow up with another victory.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer David Nieuwenhuizen sends out Pressonregardless in Race 5.

His last two starts have been good. He set the pace over this course and distance last time, before getting caught late by Hotarubi.

The son of Lancaster Bomber returns to handicap company this afternoon. Diego De Gouveia is likely to adopt the same tactics and he may be hard to peg back.
