Snow Pilot Could Fly On Met Day

Save the big date - Saturday 25 January 2025

Justin Snaith’s enigmatically talented 4yo Snow Pilot is the champion trainer’s sole entry in the R1,5 million Gr1 Cape Flying Championship on WSB Cape Town Met day.

The son of Lancaster Bomber ran out of the money in Saturday’s L’Ormarins King’s Plate, but could be an interesting proposition as a 4yo over the 1000m straight.

The Cape’s premier raceday of the year will be held at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday 25 January, and after the publication of the WSB Cape Town Met weights early on Monday, the entries for the Grade 1 undercard features makes for interesting perusal.

Defending Cape Flying Championship title-holder Dyce is one of 22 entries for the R1,5 million 1000m feature, which includes a nice spread of nationally respresentative entries from the Eastern Cape, KZN and the Highveld.
