Crop Excess: Workrider Suspended For 12 Racemeetings

Will only return after racemeeting of 24 March 24

A Highveld workrider has been suspended from riding in twelve designated races after he exceeded the crop use limit by 100% at Turffontein on 14 November 2024.

Anathi Feni (right) will have to sit on the sidelines after his indiscretion. He is pictured in this file pic with trainer Alson Ndzilana (Pic – JC Photos)

Anathi Feni was riding St John Gray’s Spy Story, whom he struck 24 times during the 1500m race.

Feni signed an Admission of Guilt and is suspended from riding in twelve (12) Work Rider races, the final one of which is on 24 March 2025.
