Oh What A Night At The Theatre Of Dreams

First due off @ 15h30

The racemeeting moved from Wednesday becomes a twilight meeting on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack this afternoon.

There are eight races carded with the first due off at 15h30 and the lucky last heading into the evening at 19h40.

Don’t forget to take the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge on this racemeeting.

Royal Swan Master from the Dean Kannemeyer stable takes his place in Race 3. He cost himself winning last time as he lost three lengths leaving the starting stalls.

He has won twice and finished second three times from as many starts on this course.

The son of Master Of My Fate should love the extra 100m on offer and if jumping on terms, he can notch up his third-career victory.

Calvin Habib (on Trippi T) had a good day at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Wednesday - Can he do it again with his possible 6 off 8 today?

Trippi may be the one to close off tonight’s meeting (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Trainer Andre Nel sends out Trippi T in the lucky last race. He followed up his maiden victory with a good second-place finish over 1000m on the turf.

He showed good speed and fought hard all the way to the line.

The son of Trippi is likely to get his own way in front today and may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.

Please take note that Jockey Siyanda Sosibo is now a qualified jockey.

Jockey Smanga Khumalo will not be riding today – click here to read all about it.

The Enchanting Currency Of Fate

It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
