Hollywoodbets Durbanville: Racing Is On At This Stage

'Things are on track'

The rain continues to fall in Cape Town this morning in advance of the Hollywoodbets Durbanville racemeeting which commences at 12h15 today.

Cape Racing Executive, Justin Vermaak confirmed to the Sporting Post that 8mm had fallen today and as at 08h00, things were on track.

“We will remain positive but will have to see what the rest of the morning brings,” said Vermaak.

If going ahead, today’s racemeeting will be the first to be run at the Country Course since 21 November 2023.

It has been a wet July with no racemeeting held this month, so far.

The going is good up at Hollywoodbets Scottsville, where the first race today is at 12h30.
