Snaith’s Dark Winter May Be Today’s Good Start

Bipot starts in the second race @ 12h25

After two days of no local racing, Hollywoodbets Scottsville plays host to a nine-race programme today with the first due off at 11h50.

A reminder to take the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge on this racemeeting.

Dark Winter from the Justin Snaith stable takes her place in Race 1 and she should give punters a good start to the day.

She stayed on when third in the Listed Hollywoodbets Super League Devon Air Stakes last time.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She finished second in her only attempt on this course.

She drops to 1000m and the blinkers should sharpen her up. If getting away to a clean start, she should be too good for this field.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Alyson Wright sends out Voldemort in Race 8. He finished 0.3 lengths behind Winter Waves last time.

He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

If not too far out of his ground at the halfway mark, he can return to winning ways.
