Zackey And Gimme’s Lassie May Go One Better

First due off @ 12h25

Fairview will play host to an eight-race programme on the polytrack today. Race 7, the Nelson Mandela Bay Racing Poly Challenge is the feature on this card.

The first is due off at 12h25 with the lucky last set for 16h25.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Gavin Smith sends out Gimme’s Lassie in Race 4. She has consistent form lines to her credit. She stayed on when fifth over this distance on the turf last time.

It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. She finished third in her only attempt on this course.

The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight drops in class and with jockey Craig Zackey aboard she can return to winning ways.

Chere For Me from the Jacques Strydom stable takes her place in Race 3. She finished 2.75 lengths behind Essential last time.

She is 3kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. She finished 1.85 lengths behind Strange Magic in her penultimate run.

She is 6.5kgs better off at the weights today and should turn the form around. Philasande Mxoli is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.
