WSB Cape Town Met ’24 – The First Entries

The countdown begins in earnest!

A bumper first entry of 33 was received on Wednesday 29 November for the 162nd edition of the R2 million WSB Gr1 Cape Town Met which will be run at the sensational new look Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday 27 January 2024.

The entry includes Saturday’s impressive Betway Gr1 Summer Cup winner Royal Victory, as well as his province mate See It Again, who takes on fellow entrant Charles Dickens in Saturday’s WSB Gr2 Green Point Stakes.

  • First supplementary entries due on 18 December 2023.
  • Final supplementary entries due on 8 January 2024.
  • Weights published on 8 January 2024.
  • Declarations on 17 January 2024.
  • Final field and draws on 17 January 2024.
