This arose in that he failed to ride the horse ROYAL PURSUIT to the satisfaction of the Stewards, in Race 1 at the Vaal Racecourse on 13 September 2018.

Workrider Gwingwizha pleaded guilty to the charge and was found guilty of the charge.

The Inquiry Board took into account Workrider Gwingwizha’s poor record with regard to contraventions of Rule 62.2.3 and imposed a penalty of a suspension from riding in three (3) Workriders’ races.

Workrider Gwingwizha has the right of appeal against the penalty imposed.
