‘Winx’ Van Der Merwe Can Earn Us A Penny Or Ten Today

First off at 12h15

After two days of no local racing, Hollywoodbets Kenilworth plays host to a nine-race programme this afternoon.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge with the first due off at 12h15.

Trainer Paddy Kruyer sends out Tenpenny under JP van der Merwe in Race 4.

He showed very good improvement when second over 1400m on this course last time.

He should have finished closer to the winner that day as he was carried off a straight line at the 200m mark.

The son of What A Winter is a progressive type and will love the rise to 1600m. From his good draw of three, he should take a power of beating.

Becky Sharp from the Vaughan Marshall stable takes her place in Race 6 and she represents decent each way value.

She produced a typical second run after a rest last time. Her penultimate run when second over this course and distance catches the eye.

She finished 0,4 lengths behind Why Not Jackie that day and is 1kg better off at the weights.

That should be enough for the tables to be turned. If getting away to a clean start, she can return to winning ways in this line-up.
