Will Tarry’s Dynasty Deliver Today?

Bipot starts in the first race @ 12h20

Today’s racemeeting takes place on the Vaal Classic course. Eight races are carded for this afternoon with the first due off at 12h20 and the lucky last set at 16h25.

Jet Dynasty from the Sean Tarry stable takes his place in Race 5 and he is the best bet on the programme. He ran on powerfully when winning his last start over 1800m at Turffontein.

He has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this course and distance.

He meets similar company this afternoon and can follow up.

Law Of Success from the Paul Matchett stable may be the horse to close off the meeting. Her last start can be ignored as she was reported to be not striding out and coughing.

She finished 0.75 lengths behind Beaded Gown in her penultimate run and she is 1kg better off at the weights today.

There should not be much separating the pair in the run down to the line. She is back against her own sex and may be the one to cause the upset.

Jockey Trent Mayhew will not be riding today.

The Aga Khan – A Man Of Great Influence

With the Aga Khan’s breeding and racing programme very much geared towards the classics, it can be argued that South Africa, where speed, rather than stamina is the hallmark of its racing programme, has failed to capitalise on the excellence of especially its female families
