Looking at the field and their regular jockeys, it's not unlikely that Richard may be on Hluhluwe for the first time.
Have you by now lost the faith, Mark B?

Frankie Zackey... Going strictly on what was said,, then SIA is a racing certainty... Needed the run... Suffered bad interference... Weight turnaround... Going on those 3 crucial points,,then surely it's a matter of waiting on the winning times and

See It Again – Surely Ready For A Change Of Luck

Hi Vickster

Your comment was much longer than average, and made some statements about Saturday's racing which we are trying to unravel.
The objection rules are documented and both Piere Strydom and Michael Roberts are seasoned racing men, who understand the requirements.

From that draw, See It Again would have to be dropped off, giving Cousin Casey and the youngsters the run of the race. I think this race is tailor made for Dave The

Great win Barend. What amazes me is all the so called professional tipster where tipping Kannemeyers horse. How could that beat Barends horse on there last meeting. An old trainer Mr Kleb told me that if they get into trouble in the running then the chance are that they were never going to win. Barend's horse came from stone last in that race to mow them down. What race were the tv boys like Alistair Cohen and co watching. 5-1 what a

No one objected and striker never saw it coming
If he was a stride closer and stood up with more vigor he would have got a chance at an objection
As it is there wasn't a reason an objection in my opinion
Yes there was a chance to create one but that takes nerve and

LOL! Oriental Charm did not run ONE race in Joburg, yet he is a Joburg horse??!!! Same as Winchester Mansions last year, not ONE run in Joburg but he's a Joburg horse?! The training expertise of Brett Crawford coupled with the assistance of his able son James is what delivered 2 (TWO) (TWEE) July winners for the Cape!
WP Jou Lekker DING! Dus 'n Cape Flats DING. Do you guys know that Brett Crawford trains on the Cape Flats???!!!

I don't understand.....JP gets a16 day suspension, yet the horse is allowed to keep the race ? If See it Again did not have to pull up he would have finished much closer, yet our pumpkin heads (stewards)say it did not affect the result .Biggest load of horse manure. Horse racing in this country is truly The Sport of Kings...and as punters we still don't learn..Lucky boy Mr.Bortz.Sorry Muis, just a few hundred thousand Rands you got hooked

Good morning Mr Ed.Trust you made a fortune at the races ,Africa's biggest race day and a day full of shame in my humble my opinion. iIt's been a real farce in that:

1.Gratuities are given to the few privileged in that go back the past 4 years,is it co incidental that the so called big racing owners, and patrons whom dug deep in their pockets to rescue SA racing have benefitted hugely for their financial services rendered?
2.Clearly without a shadow of doubt overwhelming evidence was there on a silver platter to conclude the Stipendiary Stewards were compelled to look into the outcome of the main race which in my opinion was shockingly lacking.
3.It begs the question why not?
4.How does it make sense that the winning jockey gets a severe penalty for his transgressions for the ride yet the outcome of the race stands. That in itself is non sensical.
4.Surely all and sundry can conclude in their reasonable mind and see with their naked eye that the race was rough, tough and run in a fashion that demanded serious sanction against the winning horse, and jockey for its transgressions.
5.The impeding of See it Again, the closing in onto Cousin Casey taking up it's running space at the crucial stages ,the use of the whip by the rider of the winner on the head and face of Cousin Casey, did the stipendiary stewards turn a blind eye on such transgressions.?Did they not see that happening?
6.Why do u allow such glaring transgressions to... read more
