🙂 Morning My Zackey

I know your comment is tongue in cheek

He was also a certainty for the Met and this very race last year

If a horse needs a run, and it's in The July, wow, then both Johnson horses DS and SIA is now ready, maybe even the other one.

Off course I want SIA to be a champion , but maybe as a 5 yr old he'll be one. Many "hard luck/sad stories" in The July, hopefully the 10 that runs again, learns from the replays

2 days rest, Hwbets Scottsville GC, watch out, please keep cash (lots) 😄

Albert Falls Greetings

Only Two Hong Kong Fixtures Left!

What's up with Keagan de Melo, he is struggling in Hong Kong?! 3 rides a meeting max, the odd winner here and there, maybe its time to come home and go for the championship again. He is a talented jockey and could give Richard Fourie a run for his money! Would be good to see 2 top riders fighting out the championship in SA. Fourie needs competition because he's riding against the blind school

I agree. The way they are using it currently is extremely annoying.

The drone footage that WOULD be interesting to see is the July interference at the ~1100 m

Given the weight he had to concede to others and the late interference (reminiscent of the dreadful Pas De Quoi year), it was actually an excellent run from SiA in the July.

Difficult for SiA from that draw in the Champions Cup.

Hopefully Muis Roberts will consider taking SiA to Turffontein in the summer for the big features and not just Cape Town. SiA would be perfectly suited to Turffontein. And Striker Strydom knows every blade of grass there.

Similarly with GwE. The long straight would dovetail with the Kannemeyer come-from-behind tactics. Zackey could drop GwE out 15 lengths and he would still have time to come thru' and win.

But Roberts and Kannemeyer seem to have an aversion to Turffontein. Sad, because it is the fairest track in the country. And it would suit their horses down to the

Hollywoodbets Durban July – Rough Stuff, But Crawford Does It Again!

Hi George, you an old SP poster and no need to twist a story
Oriental Charm left Cape Town after the Derby with the July in mind and as they say in classics, the rest is History
Do you know that he ran behind Cafe Culture also a Cape horse early in his career so how good is Woodruffs horse
Good winners from all the Provinces on the

Frankie Zackey... Hi Mr Ed...Mr Ed I've asked a couple of times now about doing away with the drone footage,,and yet it's still falling on deaf ears..I'm not 99% sure but 100% sure that if you asked any Trainer Owner or Punter,, they'll tell you that they are totally against the drone footage while a race is on... We are missing out on so much at the start of the race and during a race.. They should really consider doing away with it completely while a race is on...Not word of a lie whoever I've spoken to about this drone footage,,there's not one that's in favor of it...The most annoying thing for serious players is having to watch a replay over 10 times before making a proper assessment of the

Surely this is Cousin Casey's Race

Lucky Lad for the Mercury Sprint

And a Tarry stayer for the lowly graded Gold Cup

3 legged Pick 6, easy game sometimes 🙂

Hluhluwe, oh my,,,,

Allow me to quote Justin on Double Superlative

" IF he had one more run before the July, the other runners need to start running now to beat him "

Now he had that run ! Richard Fourie will ride !

Frankie Zackey... Going strictly on what was said,, then SIA is a racing certainty... Needed the run... Suffered bad interference... Weight turnaround... Going on those 3 crucial points,,then surely it's a matter of waiting on the winning times and

Hi Vickster

Your comment was much longer than average, and made some statements about Saturday's racing which we are trying to unravel.
The objection rules are documented and both Piere Strydom and Michael Roberts are seasoned racing men, who understand the requirements.

The Enchanting Currency Of Fate

It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
