See It Again – Surely Ready For A Change Of Luck

Mark remember years back when Striker rode in Dubai
He still had the come from the back tactic
The other jockeys were on their bicycle from when the tapes went up.
When he made his run from the back he found out the race was over and numbers were already in the

Hi Mashumi
JP was given 16 days. Agree the Stipes should not have kept quiet and a race review would have been

Only Two Hong Kong Fixtures Left!

Sir, I am a de Melo fan so i was disappointed, and thought he would do better. 21 wins in his first season is a good start. De Melo is a brilliant jockey from a wide draw, hence me thinking that he would set the course alight, particularly at Happy Valley. Let's see next

See It Again – Surely Ready For A Change Of Luck

Mr Mike de Kock once said with luck in racing everything goes according to plans look how JP crossed the track just to close for Striker where is luck then because See It Again was winning the race and stipes kept quite as if nothing had happened sometimes the game is not fair the race was taken from Wielly Hall just for carrying not obstruction maybe its otherwise can't

Striker is undoubtedly one of the greatest we've produced, but best of the best.....that goes to the man who trains See It

My apologies I've just checked his official handicap im shocked to say he is only a 1 handicap which puts his kzn season into perspective Rather mediocre but be warned in the summer he will be back
I'm hoping he is a better tennis player than a polo

Relax Justin was promoted from a two goal player to a three on the polo fields so there was some progress
I must say this probably lent to his absence on the course rarely was he there - we were gifted with his assistant

Dear fellow have you ever ridden in the Cape Mud long before Garth the senior jocks made the call and at least that's one racing tradition still

Bless your Soul
I've been having the Peters though for Hluhluwe but was nervous to mention it
I could certainly see at least 6 G1 wins if that route were taken but unfortunately the boys in the KZN midlands are blinded by sentiment there's a famous rugby cry saying A little bit more pressure on the rear
I'm not sure if Nick went there or to PMB College but his friendship with Thomas sways me to the PMB College scenario
We can only hope Justin concentrates on the race track and not the polo fields of

Here's a van der Merwe joke:

Van der Merwe goes to Paris to watch the Boks take on the Brits at the world cup.

Whilst in Paris, he walks around, gaping and staring at everything - so much so that he walks smack bang into a fire hydrant which hits him so hard on the family jewels that he has to be rushed to hospital where the doctors tell him they have to remove his testicles.

Van goes berserk, he bites and snarls at every one and he won't let anybody within 10 metres of him. Eventually they find a South African doctor in the hospital and get him to talk to Van.

He walks up to Van and tells him "Hey Van, die ouens moet jou knaters uithaal."

Van replies "O, okay, ek dog die bliksems wil my test tickets vat."

Hey John please let the meetings that have been called off, because of bad weather go. How would you feel if they had carried on racing and we ended up with a bad accident?
It still irks me that Richard Fourie took the blame for the Eastern Cape debacle. It certainly was not "drizzle" both in the Western and the Eastern

The Enchanting Currency Of Fate

It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
