THE STARTER REPORTED:

a) ZIL MORIS (K Matsunyane) was fractious in the stalls, taken out, examined by the course Veterinary Surgeon and withdrawn, causing a delay.
b) BJORN IRONSIDE (S Moodley) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride.
c) ROCKPOOL (R Khathi) and PORT LOUIS (D Schwarz) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a) In view of the performance of BJORN IRONSIDE (S Moodley), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
b) In view of the report from the Starter regarding ZIL MORIS (K Matsunyane), this gelding’s starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as he proves to be tractable to load with a companion. (Suspension dates: 17/11/2024 to 23/11/2024 inclusive). ZIL MORIS may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
c) SNOW PILOT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised. (TJ)

a) GIMME A PRINCE (C Zackey) proved difficult proceeding to the start and had to be led, causing a delay. Trainer DM Kannemeyer was advised that should this gelding behave in a similar manner in future engagements, it may be suspended.
b) Jockey G Wright reported that he felt something amiss with SOLAR POWER. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
c) RASCALLION, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer VH Marshall was advised. (TJ)

What I saw was the big picture H is being aimed at the July with a possible 52kg he will merely be ticking over without incurring penalties I'm surprised you didn't see that and that you are still up way past Cecil's bed time
