Wow...I think Ive now heard everything from the Peter stable spokesman....to say they think that Calvin Habib is not at his absolute best at the moment...huh??... Now this is a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black...What about the yard that he is contracted to...its not anywhere near firing so obviously it would reflect on the retained rider...I knew there was something cooking when the self same mr Z recently told Chad Little...on this platform... that the yard is looking for a very good heavyweight rider...
Calvin find yourself a real loyal trainer who appreciates you through the good and the tough times...maybe someone like DK...these guys appears not to care for horse or humans....they only chase money money

Wrensch Defies Weather With Dazzling Double
Congratulations to Peter Wrensch for a fantastic double on Thursday, well deserved for a stalwart of Cape Racing and the Cape Hunt and Polo Club era, and a really nice guy.
I remember Peter from the time he was a top amateur jockey in the Cape Hunt when he rode with the likes of Reza van Reenen, Andre Heyns, Zaid Anthony, Greg Dabbs and others. Those racemeetings were great fun and the racecourse was packed!

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) GOLDEN LINK (C Maujean) jumped awkwardly and made contact with MY BEST SHOT (R Fourie) leaving the stalls. Thereafter, GOLDEN LINK (C Maujean) was slow into stride.
b) WALT WHITMAN (K Minnie) was slow into stride.

a) MAKAZOLE (M Yeni) and SAKURAJIMA (S Khumalo) over raced in the early stages.

Muzi Yeni deserved the Jockey Title Twice before,But the Powers /Authority,Suspended he Twice during the critical stages of the championship,to allow them both acclaimed jockeys to Win and Muzi to Lag behind..
