This meeting took place after an overnight storm, and on the day overcast weather with intermittent rain.
Earlier in the meet, 2x2 B Little rode a Double R3 and R4, won on the left side of the track.All these rides were with outstanding balance and precision. Robbie Hill close, virtually scraping the freshly white painted rail on the inside, coming off the pace to win. Jeff was an apprentice claiming weight, rode a lovely weighted brown thoroughbred won going away in the middle of the track, followed up riding a pure white thoroughbred coming off the pace to win by a length in the middle of the track. Accolades to the winners and riders.
It turnout to be a memorial day for everyone, except for a few punters who left early. The die hard racing fan enjoyed a fun full day, with various catering aromas filled the air to satisfy every tastebud.The parties went on late into the night in private suites, the horses settled into their barns, and the winning grooms boosting of their winnings and sharing a meal with their friends.
