THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) SILVONIAN (L Mxothwa) was restless in the stalls.
b) BOURBON WARRIOR (T Godden) was restless in the stalls and lost 2 lengths.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a) The Stewards called a race review into the start regarding BOURBON WARRIOR (T Godden) in stall gate 8 and after reviewing the patrol film from all angles and taking evidence from the Assistant Starter who was positioned directly behind BOURBON WARRIOR (T Godden) at the start, they established that this colt had been restless in the stalls and had kicked out on a couple of occasions, but once the start was effected it had all feet on the ground and had been presented with every opportunity to jump on terms. Furthermore, the Stewards were of the opinion that any disadvantage to the start of BOURBON WARRIOR (T Godden) was due to its own behaviour and BOURBON WARRIOR (T Godden) was deemed to be a runner.

Top Class Filly
One has to admire the courage of Anthony Andrews to step down for this ride it couldn't have been easy
I have to wonder why Candice and Aldo hadn't taught him to just let her go at her own pace where ever she finds herself and not take a hold and strangle her running style
It's pretty clear Anthony was under huge pressure to stick to riding instructions instead of just riding the races as they come
It happened in a few races
I'd put him back up for the Cape Season and ask Andrew Fortune to school him and guide him all the Kid needs is confidence not riding
