Former Racing Control Executive Will Be Missed
As LG says, a really good policeman of racing and always a pleasure to deal with.
Unlike some of the one eyed stipes in the past!

Hollywoodbets Durbanville: Wednesday Moves To Thursday
Mr. Editor I'm afraid that Mr. Sukdhev is a lot more accurate than a mere conspiracy theorist even if he's guessing. I have an article ready based on my witnessing of this trial and this will be released once the findings of the Peter matter are made known as I cannot influence the outcome of this. The truth milkshake will hurt badly indeed.
I have had decades of experience of NHA incompetence. The Peter trial doesn't

Experience The Winter Lake At Fairview
To all those punters that backed GWE for the July and Lucky Lad last week in the strong tailwind - here is a little education.
The weight received by 3yo's (many probably still actually 2) for the months of August and September will make it difficult to beat even mediocre older horses.
Uniformed punters must not say we don't try to provide them with knowledge - remember how I begged everyone here at SP not to back GWE for the July - not because he wouldn't but couldn't

Why such secrecy…. obviously NHRA has something to hide. Transparency is a must. Sadly punters apathy creates such opportunities for irregularities and pushed under the carpet. It proves that the racing is controlled by racing mafia. Perhaps NHRA were also benefitting from the MILKSHAKE with a variety of flavours. Let the flavour of the Truth emerge.

Former Racing Control Executive Will Be Missed
An absolute gentleman and a proper Stipe, if ever there was one !
Mr Mc Gillivray understood the bigger picture and whilst he was at the helm, he was very strict on the important issues but was also always there to assist, on the other issues, thus being seen as a honest and fair senior Stipe.
He took no nonsense, but was always there to find a solution to an issue, rather than to just throw the book at anyone.
Racing, Worldwide, is poorer now that he is gone. I count it a privilege to have served on boards etc during his tenure and to have learned so much from him, even whilst he worked abroad.
My heartfelt condolences to his friends family.

Fair comment Gregg, but I think part of the mystery is that Lance wasn't around long enough on the track to make a name for himself (I remember him as a promising racehorse but actually wasn't even aware he was at stud until Quid Pro Quo won the Allan Robertson). If we look at his pedigree, however, he's a blue blood in South African terms and, on paper, fully entitled to be passing on the Jet Master/Jallad genes. Whether he can replicate this level of success with more support going forward remains to be seen - I hope he gets more opportunities. Ultimately, while there's a huge amount of science and insight that goes into breeding, it's still a lottery when it comes to predicting the future performance of any individual
