Dan de Wet – A Champion Human Being
This is a wonderfully scribed tribute to a man I never met but now, after reading this, feel I knew. By the sounds of things a real true man in every sense of the word who brought a sparkle and rich substance into the world and those close to him. The type of many we all aspire to be but will probably fail at. For us who love the horse, we owe so much to Dan De Wet and the significant contribution he made to horseracing and now we have his Legend to hold onto. And what a Legend it is.
My heartfelt condolences go out to this family and closest friends. You have had to say goodbye to a very special person indeed however, in life, goodbye is inevitable and so we must keep the wonderful memories whilst we are here, make sure they are etched in history, and let go of the heartsore.
We know not why, how or when. Only HE
