And these people get paid for foolish and inconsistent decisions like this . My goodness how on earth was the result not overturned , had the second horse run straight on his intended line and the winner hung as the horse often does , the second horse wins easy , it's a shame on you stipes , your pay cheaque should be docked, wake up or open your eyes not your

Did Stipes Get Objection Decision, Right?

So the Stipes think Sheldon was bonkers when he said Birthright was coming back
They are saying Birthrigjht was beaten before the interference therefore the interference did not matter to the final results
Because?
Let this be how objections of interference are conducted from now

Did Stipes Get Objection Decision, Right?

The Stipes got it right this time!

El Dante comes from a length behind Birthright off the false rail. He is still under a hands ride and goes about a neck clear. It’s now that the initial incident is started, by Birthright, not El Dante. Khumalo goes for the stick in his left hand, causing his mount to affect the balance of El Dante by leaning onto his hind quarter. As a result El Dante is turned outwards because he is now unbalanced. But for the initial action caused by Khumalo putting the stick into his left hand I don’t think there would have been any issue here, but Birthright actually caused this incident, not El

Remember in different age and a different world when NHRA Stipes objected and then upheld the objection
A horse ridden by Jeff Lloyd was interfered with some way out
Jeff's horse finished way down the field about sixth
Jeff stated his horse had run its race when the horse objected against by Stipes came from behind him raced away to win.
The winner was the favorite
We of a different age and different world know how the race meeting panned out after that objection decision
Crazy decisions

Does the Christmas bonus package include dark glasses, a cane walking stick and a labrador with a braille rule book?

Just another glaring display of ineptitude from this

If you watch enough racing it is clear Khumalo is about to hit the front again. The other horse made it's run early and could have gone away but Khumalo's picked up again to come through to win only to be denied his momentum each time he was about to hit the front. At what point are we going to take notice of the exodus of top stipes from SA and the lack of cover? Particularly in

No horrible decision. A horse should not be able to move half way across the track, taking other horses with it and then still be called a winner. If they can then why should jockeys worry about keeping their horses straight

Kannemeyer And De Melo Team Up For A Good Day

George, mysterious is the operative word. I would have thought that, that was one objection that would be upheld.
As you say, I would love to know the reasons why it wasn't but as Mr. Ed says, we will never really find

The Enchanting Currency Of Fate

It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
