Are the Cape bosses considering bringing Tuesday's meeting to Monday in an attempt to salvage the meet.
The forecasts for Sunday&Monday are clear skies with heavy rainfalls for Tuesday.

In response to your question, CR Chairman Greg Bortz tells us, 'it’s wet!
He said: "Bringing it forward if the track is waterlogged doesn’t help. Two things matter - the sky and the ground. The reader observing the clear sky on Tuesday ignores the waterlogged turf on the Sunday and Monday.
The Hollywoodbets Kenilworth water table is super high. It has been since time immemorial. We can’t arrange to bring a meeting forward if we don’t have certainty the ground will be dry.
We can bring meetings forward or push them back. But unless either the turf is safe enough, or the horses learn to swim, there is not much we can do. You can assure your readers that we too monitor the weather.
The drainage at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth is excellent. But the natural water table is high. Short of relocating the racecourse, we are stuck with
