Something I have never really understood is why a vendor of a yearling at a sale has to buy back his own horse on the sale. If unsold then surely he would just take it back. I suppose if the yearling attracted a few bids which were not high enough for his liking, then he would have to top the bid to keep it, unless there was a reserve price put up?
That is what I presume happened in the case of Quid Pro

Is Jockey and horse safety not a top priority. If something bad happens to a Jockey that has a bad fall in those conditions who will take care of them and their families. Horse racing will continue and that jockey will be long forgotten the very next
