Hi Frank
Spoke to Gold Circle Racing Executive Raf Sheik.
He pointed out that any gripes should be with the trainers and not the racing operator.
Apparently something like 160 horses were nominated and half scratched.
Raf said that every trainer that scratched horses was contacted. With no joy.
There is a Hollywoodbets Durbanville meeting on the day, so its not a vacant local slot - at the moment.
