SA Racing Has Lost A Ray Of Sunshine

The racing family on the other side have gained indeed, well Sunshine you have joined a powerful racing family which I believe is led by the late Mr Terence Kitchener, I believe you have joined the Angel and you have made him bigger & bigger, to the family God be with you for you have catered for this Angel here on earth, thank you very to the family of Shaheen. I definitely will miss you as I cried when you left tellytrack back then, I thought it was a temporary thing and you will come back @ Tellytrack but no, and it became difficult to see you or hear from you, but now you are really gone and gone too soon, Rest In Peace my Champion, I will always remember you as I do remember one of the very best if not the best the late Mr Terence Kitchener l, Hit Them Hard

Champions Aplenty For Marsh

SP Readers, on March Shirtliff's comment with regards Sun Classique's performance that night in Dubai, I had it down (rated internationally) as one of the best Fillies & Mares performances, as well.

That is, my rating. I try and rate all the Grade 1's internationally, on a yearly basis, even though it's on many occasions a mission

South African fall way too short to overseas jockeys. Overseas ride like true professionals and they ride in any weather condition. Unlike South African

I agree with David Michael , often when the jockey rides one of the favorites and he realizes he is not going to win he slacks down towards the end and just finishes the race often not running a place

Hi Peter

All we asked for what the person who said : 'many of the senior Jocks don’t ride their rides out to the line and in majority of instances drop their hands long before the line. The powers that be don’t seem to apply the rules uniformly', to provide us some specifics so that we can take it as a case to Mr Hyde.
Otherwise, talk is

Mr Ed sir...
Is it me.?...Is it my phone ? OR Is it a gremlin @ play there in SPORTING POST ?
I saw an S-P post last week I.c.w. the upcoming U.S. of A BREEDERS day jamboree...in that post we could have logged into a ""discussion"" of said happening at 6 pm that same night. (ISIVUNGUVUNGU"s jockey and trainer Motion also featured in the post)
For a RHYME OR REASON or OTHER...said post has just ""disappeared"" from my ""CLEVER FONE"" and for the life of me...CANNOT BE SEEN anywhere.!

For Heavens sake. Pick a race...any race and you will find most jockeys will not ride out to the finish if in "their" opinion they cannot win. Jockeys must ride to obtain the best possible placing of their mounts.

David I fully agree. I have seen this numerous times, our jocks are just plain lazy as there are no consequences. International jocks ride their hearts out. However if they want to win on a horse you see the difference, leads you to think of

Boks Shape Up For Breeders’ Cup

As I've said a few times on this platform, I'm a big supporter of SA horses. They are among the best in the World.
I backed ISI on 7 September whrn he won. I got 9/2 on Hollywoodbets
Yesterday, I placed a bet on WSB
I took the price of 25/1.
Im not scared of COGBURN or ANY OTHER HORSE.
In sprinting, UP TO 1200m,ISIVUNGUVUNGU is the best.
He's better than the times of the top USA sprinters who claim 1m 9 seconds.
Thats NOT FAST.
ISI goes 67 seconds AND FASTER!
HE IS THE FASTEST SPRINTER ON PLANET
