THE STARTER REPORTED:

a) Fair start.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:

a) ESTHER (K Minnie) was awkwardly placed and had to be steadied on the outside of PINEAPPLEMINTGREEN (C Orffer), which shifted out slightly at the 400m.
b) EUROPEAN SUMMER (*DB Geerthsen) had to be steadied momentarily off the heels of ESTHER (K Minnie), which shifted inwards slightly as she came to the end of her run approaching the 250m.
c) Jockey R Fourie reported that he felt something amiss with THREE ROCKS and he did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer AC Greeff was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables.
d) Jockey X Ndlovu reported that LEAVING LAS VEGAS changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer AC Greeff was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this filly on her return to the stables.

TCO2 Concerns – NHA Reaffirms Confidence In Testing Procedure

The NHA seem to be oblivious to the chaos that they have caused and are ignoring the fact that they are questioning the integrity of the trainers of the horses that have been withdrawn. This is like a science fiction movie and on a very serious note this simply cannot be allowed to happen. It is very hard to believe that they have given the racing fraternity that actually make the world of racing happen , the finger. A small group of individuals with too much power ruining things for so many. A very, very dangerous
