Starlust Triumphs As Unlucky ‘Isi’ Runs His Heart Out

Having looked at the NBC replay this morning which shows the head on, Rossa took a perfect gap, but a tiring Cogburn shifted onto Starlust as he went into the gap, who in turn shifted onto Isi. Great ride by Rossa, and a courageous effort by Isi.

Morning Frank

I complained from the Pocket, should know better after all these years

Computaform actually tipped the 8 in the 4th for first, so I had a good start
But this previous July winner got me, but that's racing. Next time 🐎

Again Good Luck to the 1.11 winners
Always happy for others

Albert Falls Greetings

Well done Hollywood and don't forget the very nice run from Beach Bomb! It's worth taking a moment to acknowledge Aiden O'Brien. He could have run COT on the turf and then retired him to stud saying he's a Justify so Americans should buy his horses coz there's a dirt pedigree. Instead, he ran him on the dirt to prove it. It didn't work but if it did that's how legends are made. In SA we seem to be rushing so many horses to Stud. That's not racing, us the public can't go on a journey if the horse is not racing. Not to mention, most have barely proven themselves. Maybe you'll make money sometimes but the industry loses longterm. Imagine Charles Dickens in the Turf Mile! It took 10years after Variety Club for one as good as CD, makes you feel that a real winning chance is always out of

How Rossa Ryan got away with that kind of riding I don't know...only reason I can think of is that Isi at the time the bumping occurred did not look like a contender for first place...

OMG 😱. What a terrible race. Could see that they didn't want Isi to win. I am so disappointed at the way the race ended 😭. Anyway better luck

I agree witg Gareth. Last week jockey fell off at Durbanville as well, nobody even mentioned a word again. Yeni also fell off today, but hey its way more important to talk nonsense about other stuff than the well being of both the horse and jockey. Makes a total mockery of the so called sport, which is then way more vested in gambling and money than being a true sport. Quite frankly not a pretty picture at all. Where are the priorities? None of the presenters mentioned much on either of the

It is possible you were betting in a pre-noms ante-post market?
We never saw him.

Model Man – A Legend Of The Turf

I was 15 learning the betting rope watching that ding dong battle with main man, that is when Jeff won the national championship. My 3 favorite moments in my racing history was that one presided by the Rutlandarms_Royal play moment last was my favorite Jockey Bartie Leisher winning the July. I was not even betting then but just enjoyed

Whattt
This horse last run 19 lengths back
Dave the King in this race 19 lengths back

No, Graham HJ is correct

What's going on here

Can DTK win the Big one and improve 19 lengths or the Kings Plate

OR maybe I just need a break or go back to Newspaper picks

# I am talking from the Pocket

Well done to the 1.11 P6 winners

Good day Mr Ed
If at all possible can you please ask the connections to at least edit the replay of this race on social media ie Youtube,Racing TV etc. That was a very nasty fall and very chilling to watch.
Hope Muzi came off lightly from that fall.
I just hope all of the so called racing fans can acknowledge the dangers our jockeys face each time they put their leg over for us to enjoy racing. In a nutshell when jockeys protest about racing conditions whether it be (rain/wind/uneven surface conditions etc) have respect for their well being and keep your own selfish/greedy reasons in your pocket.
Speedy recovery Muzi/Bling and a special mention to our fallin Jockeys(RIP) and those forced into retirement due to
