Decades Of Triumphs & Challenges – Ormond Ferraris

Johan, I think I have that one on an external drive somewhere. Geez, that caused a lekker vibe, hey !

And the two trainers comments before the race made it even more

Bortz Answers Joe Public’s Questions

Thank you for this honest and open Q&A. I have been a small punter since I was 13 years old and my dad took me to Scottsville Tote for my first PA- won R28 for R4. That was 50 years ago. Like Joe says - Cape Town racing is difficult - and made me stop punting 2x in my life because I lost to much. These days I am retired - and punt small - BiPot , PA and Jackpot. I have only won 4 P6's of note in my lifetime. I love the sport. I love something that takes some effort to get to a result - not mindless feeding af a gambling machine in a casino. And today there are so many people tipping , discussing and sharing the sport. Pools are poor - but hope is high. Racing forever , or at least until I die ! Thanks

What a load of Bull. So it’s every jockeys right to give his horse every available opportunity to win or get into the placings. By your great opinion every favourite should be allowed a clear run by the lower priced horses!!! No need for draws might as well just give the favourite a 100m start

It took a while, but the NHA has spoken. Gavin should appeal and draw it out, if he so wish! Unlikely this one will be overturned

My opinion. Correct decision and penalties. Road Rage actions or reactions has NO place in

This is what we call cause and effect or in academic circles it is known as causality. Something is missing. Grant van Niekerk? The perpetrators will get a slap a final warning and what becomes of Grant? You will start noticing that his mounts have and will keep drying up. Maybe it’s time for him to move to

Confidence, Class & The Canadian Dream – Ryan Munger

In my opinion, a smart guy who thinks strategically and will progress successfully. Canada will provide him with opportunities long term. His comments on Pierre Strydom and Andrew Fortune gives insight into his ability to comprehend the skills of these outstanding riders. And he comes across well in post race interviews. My very best

Look at the Gavin saga. Look at the different contraventions. In fact one can say is an criminality act assault GBH to be particular. If Grant not gonna stand up for himself nobody's gonna do it. It's time this double standards and autocratic way of doing thing should be put to rest.
Listen to what a particular individual mentioned and one wonder was that decision subjective or objective or in the best interest of who? Just because he got the power/authority to do

Simple solution, take the P6, PA , JP and Bi-P away from bookmakers and the pools will be real with attractive returns even without the coupling rule having to be brought back. Pay the bookmakers 1-2% to take the bets for us punters and their customers, they will still hold the punters bank roll and with the tech available won't have to do much for the comm

all i want to tell you unless you have not been to turffontein is that there is a big screen and when the horses are about 200m out the jockeys all glance up so don't say Gates would have needed rear view mirrors he knew exactly what he was doing.why don't you all look up Jason's record and you will see that he has been fined for causing interference

Hilton dont worry about the later incident in the race with Grant, just see early on what GVN does to ONE STRIPE twice then comment as to why this is allowed in mainstream racing, GVN got off extremely
