American-Breds Dominate World Cup Knockout

The Dubai carnival has been a USA & Japanese affair the last few years.
Pity I did'nt look up trainer Brad Cox's career record before the World Cup, pretty impressive and on a par with most of his American contemporaries - and the man is only 45.
Anyway, over coffee this morning I had a look at the racing scenario in North America - they have 460 races listed as G1 to G3.
That's about as much as we do here in a year with our races being affected by inclement weather and jockey strikes - just joking!
Here's to One Stripe's campaign in the USA - Romantic Warrior has shown that a good horse is a good horse, no matter where he was bred or trained.

Very funny Fred. Are you insuniating that you've spoken to some owners (other than the Andrews) about me or are you saying that Mr Witz is so well connected that HE should rather ask the questions about me?

You're all welcome to repeat the owners jokes about me as it might put a smile on my dial

Dayalan you did something that I've been tempted to do but refrained from and that is to quote Justin Snaith I refer to comments he made at morning gallops in response to a question re the whereabouts of GvN. It was overheard by many stakeholders.

The reason why I haven't quoted him is because I don't think he meant it to be for public consumption and I respect that. Instead I posted videos etc. as hints. I doubt it very much whether GvN will ever ride for the Snaith's again and I hope he doesn't burn anymore bridges.

Let me conclude by saying; Normally where there's smoke there's a

2 Race meetings at the course have been cancelled due to the jockey strike. On the day the races were abandoned it was said lots of important stakeholders lost out, namely owners, trainers ,sponsors, hospitality holders etc. but by now cancelling these 2 meetings, are you now not punishing there same stakeholders you are trying to protect? Even some jockeys who striked on the day were allowed to ride at other meetings. No loss to them or were the stakeholders happy to have these meetings

Good morning Mr Ed and all the keypad jockeys on the group. Our jockeys always face criticism and this goes out to the people who watched racing from abroad Yarmouth, wolves and Dubai. Go and watch serious pathetic riding if our locals rode like that they wud be crucified. So next time before posting a comment about our jockeys look at these meetings and see pathetic timing and jockey ship. Just to clear the the air it's not sour grapes because I did not punt. My punt for the week end was on Thursday was Kenya to make the sevens rugby semi

Here i sit at home twenty minutes away from Kenilworth or Durbanville and no racing in SA. And we do not have weather issues in Cape Town. All about one jockey running his mouth.
