Top Vet: TCO2 Testing Is A Positive – But More Research Needed

Frankie Zackey... Every runner must be tested in the July... Any horse over the 36 limit is out,, if not then it must leave them no but no option to scrap the TC02 Testing... Personally I'll like the field to be tested... I'll be very but very surprised to see a full field taking their place in the

TCO2 Testing – SA Punters Forum Weighs In

Thanks Mr Witz. It is said that bad publicity is better than no publicity. Just for your information. My bet won't make everyone winners, just more of them and bigger winners all the time even when this nonsense with the TCO scratchings stain the card. Your exotic bet will never be be knocked out by a forced favourite that runs unplaced. Thanks for the banter, always fun reading your

TCO2 Testing – SA Punters Forum Weighs In

May I respectfully ask what the role of the national board of the NHA is, and what are their duties? The Western Cape is represented by Pippa Mickleburgh and Susan Rowett, and then each racing jurisdiction has representatives in the other racing provinces.

The role of the board in most organizations is one of oversight, strategy and to hold the executive team accountable, but this board of the NHA appears to be toothless and silent?! Surely when a major crisis like the TCO2 testing that can bring down the industry, is so prevalent, does the board not get involved and ring the alarm bells?

Or do the executive and management team call all the shots and the board is a just a rubber-stamp?! I would be very interested to

Hey Johnny
Great news I got a call from MamThakadi she is still perplexed about how Hluhluwe never got in I told her it's a panel that decides and some times they can't see what the ancestors can
Anyway the July is still a possibility or the consolation Word has it The Champions Cup is a definite so far from running in mid divisions
Why don't you lot enter your champ for the champions cup so we can establish whose going up and whose going down
If it was up to me I'd be taking him home and setting him up for a low weight for next year's July
Right now I'm thinking your son of raj might be the right one this

I beg to differ.. on pedigree Hluhluwe should stay all day. 2200 would suite him if ridden from the tail of the field. I agree - out with the old ( Aragosta, Shoemaker etc)

‘It’s Hard Work’ – Owner Stinkie Pooe

Mr Pooe is a well deserving gentleman and as I said previously a true patron of the sport. He is humble and respectful to every person be that a groom to a CEO. Few people know how hard he works behind the scenes and how he inspires and supports people to give them a chance in life. I am thankful he is in our

Hollywoodbets Durban July – Here’s The Class Of 2024!

I chatted to the yard before the Wolverhampton victory - they were not committed - she was 70/1 - 10/1 place for the July.

When the weights were finalised and she came up 3 lengths under sufferance I suspected that would go for the GP.

The GP is the best race on July day - SS might struggle to catch the Bass runner if she takes to the course and lights.

SS could end up doing what Sparkling Water did as a 4yo - she appears to be much more classier having won a classic.

I've been lucky with her - since the Cape Guinness I have taken place bets on her on every race accept the

The Enchanting Currency Of Fate

It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
