Snaith Scratches Hollywoodbets Durban July Runner – Stablemate Steps In

I'm going with Oriental Charm to win big with Hluhluwe to pop into trifecta and Quartet, if he can run forth he can just as well run second, but it will be an all Cape town affair in exotics, so get bets on early Cecil as I can only See one horse from KZN upsetting my selection

Could you bring your Sabre along on Saturday it would be most fitting if you were to Knight Justin as Sir Justin with his Sixth win
Man for all his detractors Justin is top class as a trainer
Nick Justin don't don't give Rachel instructions Saturday
For the record she would have been a better pilot for great plains than striker don't be surprised to see him refuse to ride if he can get him to the

Will The Title Return To The Kingdom Of The Zulu On Saturday?

Great article. That picture of See it Again at the July gallops with Pierre in the irons and no blinkers is really outstanding. It showcases what a handsome boy he really is. Blinkers, I find, sadly, often detract from a horses good

Hollywoodbets Durban July – An Open Affair!

Saith scratches Without Question ..wasn't a scratching on the cards imminent to bring in the so called champion Hluwhluwe.? Hope an independent vet is tasked to look into this issue of alleged injury.Shrewdies don't hesitate to play the game with their own rules and hog the July field..thats the big monopoly for you.will be interesting to read the stipes report in the near future.Mark If you recall, I called this one last week in my posts ? Hollywood bets missed an opportunity to lay bets on this

No SA Champion Sire Has Ever Won The July

The July is not a stallion-maker race. It's a handicap so the best horses don't necessarily win, the best weighted horse usually does. The truly great sire-producing races in South Africa are the Cape Guinneas, the Met , the King's Plate and the Cape Derby. The champions are born, bred and breed in the

Hollywoodbets Durban July – A Champion Panel

I think Mark Beck and Ma Thakadi must be doing some kind of victory dance by now...He called the scratching and got it...now theyre counting the money....AND jockey up for Hluhluwe as well...NOW Rachel surely has a much much better chance of pulling it off..Any bets the next big Snaith/Johnsson scratching will be Great Plains at 10am tomorrow morning to clear the way for Makazole Mapimpi to the tryline....exciting times indeed

The Enchanting Currency Of Fate

It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
