TCO2 Testing – SA Racing’s Road To Damascus Moment

This issue is now way beyond simply dividing our Industry. There is NOT ONE person with whom I have discussed it, who sees any good in this under researched and apparently innacurate testing procedure.

It has got to the point where good, honest, real Racing lovers want to exit the game, want to withhold nominations, want to stop betting or want to stand up and fight against what can only be described as an ongoing persecution of completely innocent Punters, Owners and Trainers.

When a standard process or practice in any industry punishes the innocent, then that process or practice will eventually destroy that Industry in its entirety.

This nonsense must stop, NOW

Frankie Zackey...well done for being a man and realizing what happened was for the right reasons... Dean Kannemeyer insisted that the Peter's get dealt with at the highest level,,going as far as not allowing them to race in KZN again... Mr Ed has heard the voice note that's done its round on Guineas day... I'm sure Mr Ed wouldn't mind sharing it on your whatsapp ... Otherwise I

Sorry Chris, they will never admit they wrong. They'll open up themselves to paying out the Peters a hefty sum in the ongoing legal proceedings.

These tests have really placed a dampener in the lead up to the July. I fear the bird has flown.

The NHA should have done the due diligence with the input of all stakeholders before rubber stamping these tests and iron out the flaws before implementing it.

Let's talk about the elephant in the room, it all started with the debacle on Summer Cup

It really is time for owners and trainers to stand together to end this it's just not in the interest of racing together owners and trainers have strength and power but the problem is who will stand and who will jump
Until everyone is willing to stand up and say enough is enough our horses aren't available for this testing enmass you can all continue to keat and suffer and bring the sport of kings crashing

At the Guineas meeting in May, I was one of the many people unhappy with the protests that forced the meeting to be abandoned after Main Defender's scratching.
At the time we thought those 'protesters' were an embarrassment to racing.
Weeks later, I have to admit I was wrong. The real disgrace lies with the people who persist with these TCO2 tests and are ruining race meeting after race meeting.
The actions of those who caused the abandoned meeting in May pales in comparison to the growing antagonism toward those who insist on TCO2 continuing with no evidence of doping.
The betting public's frustration is starting to boil over. This is now becoming all too real, and I for one will be avoiding Greyville on 6 July because I'm anticipating a
