Jimmy The Rich writes that trainer Andre Nel sends out Queen Mercury in Race 3 and she is the possible Pick 6 banker.

She has run two decent races since relocating to KZN. The daughter of Silvano stayed on to finish third over this course and distance last time.

She is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. This is not the strongest field and she should shed her maiden tag.

To The Max from the Wendy Whitehead yard represents decent each way value in Race 6. She is much better than her last start against stronger company.

She has won three times, finished second twice and third once from ten starts over this course and distance.

Her penultimate run when finishing second even though her jockey’s saddle had slipped was eye-catching. She takes a drop in class and from her good draw of two, she should return to winning ways.

Rachel Venniker rode her 20th winner at Vaal racecourse on 21 October and will now claim 2.5kgs.
