People And Racing Today!

The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h35

Racing is on the polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon and nine races are carded. South African racing also welcomes real people back on course after almost 19 months of desolation!

Don’t forget about the Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and if you tip all nine winners on the card, you can win R1 875 000.

The first race is due off at 12h05.

Jimmy The Rich writes that trainer Carl Hewitson saddles Coup De Tete in Race 6. He set the pace in his last start over 1900m and kept going well to hold all challengers at bay.

He has won twice and finished second twice from five starts on this course.

He is likely to have his own way in front once again and can notch up his fourth career victory.

Master Keeku from the Yogas Govender stable takes his place in Race 4. He showed good speed in his last start over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville, but did not go on with the effort.

The son of Master Of My Fate will love the drop to the 1000m.

He gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep his mind on the task at hand. If suited to the polytrack, he may be the one to beat.

Wesley Marwing will not be riding today as he is medically indisposed.
