Jimmy The Rich writes that Dean Kannemeyer and Keagan de Melo were in red-hot form at Durbanville on Tuesday and could be the combo to side with today.

They partner with Lady Yusra in Race 2 and she is the best bet on the card.

She was a beaten odds-on favourite last time, but lost three lengths at the start and she was reported to be not striding out.’

The daughter of Silvano is at her best over this distance and if jumping on terms, she should shed her maiden tag.

Majorca Palace from the Carl Hewitson stable represents decent each way value in Race 6.

He raced from a handy position over 1400m last time, but lacked a finish in the latter stages.

The son of Potala Palace is unbeaten from two starts over this course and distance. He takes a drop in class this afternoon and can return to winning ways.

Richard Fourie will not be riding today due to flight complications.
