Jimmy The Rich writes that Wendy Whitehead saddles Joshua Hotsnake in Race 3 and he is a possible PA banker.

He produced a promising debut effort over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. He showed good pace that day, but found one too good in the form of Proud Master.

The beautiful son of Noble Tune would have come on with the run under his belt. He tries the polytrack and if the 1000m is not too sharp, he should go one better.

What A Ryder from the Dean Kannemeyer yard represents decent each way value in Race 8.

He was not disgraced when finishing fifth against stronger company over this distance on the turf last time. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging.

The son of What A Winter takes a drop in class and should strip much fitter. From pole position, he should return to winning ways.

Kyle Strydom, Khanya Sakayi and S’manga Khumalo will not be riding today as they are medically indisposed.

Jabu Jacobs is in Cape Town and Richard Fourie had flight complications so they will not be riding today either.
