Watch Out For Lerena Today!

The first race at Vaal is off at 12h50

The Vaal Racecourse plays host to an eight-race programme this afternoon. Gavin Lerena has six rides booked with a few good winning chances and he may be the jockey worth following. The first is due off at 12h50.

Now I Got You from the Corrie Lensley yard takes his place in Race 3 and he is the Pick 6 banker. He has taken on winners in all four of his outings to date.

He raced from a handy position in the Grade 1 Premiers Champion Stakes last time, but did not go on with the effort. The son of Admiral Kitten takes on Maiden Company and he should take a power of beating.

Roy Magner sends out Burning Wings in Race 6. He showed good signs of a form return over this course and distance last time.

He stayed on nicely at the finish, but found one too good in the form of Rollwiththepunches. He takes a slight drop-in class and if confirming his recent improvement, he can go one better.
