What would the weights be?

With Merit Ratings as they are on 18 May, the weights for the Vodacom July can be calculated. This makes for an interesting exercise!

The columns below show (left to right) horse, age & sex, current MR, trainer.

Then the maximum and minimum weight allowed as per the race conditions, and the weight-for-age allowance. The last two columns are what the weight should be without limits, and what the actual weight will be. The difference shows by how much a horse is in under sufferance. This table will be updated if MR’s change following future races.
