The final field will be determined following the closing of declarations at 11:00 on Monday 24 June, and will depend on performances between today’s date and then.

 The following races could have an impact on the selection of the final field:-

 Rising Gold Challenge (Gr 1) – 1600m Clairwood, Saturday 8 June

Cup Trial (Gr 3) – 1800m Clairwood, Saturday 8 June

Winter Classic (Gr 3) – 1800m Kenilworth, Saturday 8 June

Jubilee Handicap (Gr 3) – 1800m Turffontein, Sunday 9 June

Betting World Derby (Gr 2) – 2400m Clairwood, Sunday 23 June

Betting World Oaks (Gr 2) – 2400m Clairwood, Sunday 23 June.

The final field for the 2013 Vodacom Durban July will be announced at a luncheon on Tuesday 25 June, at which time the draw for barrier positions will also take place.
