Sean Veale became the first Sporting Post-sponsored jockey to sing Happy Birthday to us in our 30th birthday this week.

Sean won the first race at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Wednesday on Diyarani and duly proceeded to do his idols thing! Thanks Sean.

Due to an unprecedented amount of entries received, we have delayed the outcome of our reader’s story competition that closed at midday on Tuesday, until our next Sprint issue on Wednesday 30 October.

In view of the avalanche of entries, we have increased the scope of the prizes and we will be presenting ten Hollywoodbets betting vouchers as follows.

  • First – R2 500
  • Second – R1 000
  • Third to tenth will each receive a R500 Hollywoodbets betting voucher.
