Gareth van Zyl saddles Music Is Life in Race 4. He ran a good race when finishing second over 1200m on this course last time.

He raced from a handy position, fought hard but found one too good in the form of Stevie Gee. The son of Oratorio should love the extra furlong on offer and he can go one better.

Southern Cape from the Paul Lafferty stable takes her place in Race 7. She finished 0.65 lengths behind Macara last time.

She is 3kgs better off at the weights which should be enough for the tables to be turned. She is unbeaten from two starts over this course and distance. The daughter of Flower Alley is likely to have her own way in front and may be hard to peg back.
