Racing today has been moved from the Vaal main track to the Vaal Classic Track.
4Racing advises the Sporting Post that this moves takes place after gallops this morning. It was unanimously agreed that the Classic Track is raceable, while the Vaal Main Track was inconsistent.
Unfortunately it is currently overcast and there is a possibility of further rainfall which could jeopardise the move. But they are giving the meeting the best possible chance to go ahead, and according to their weather app, it should start to clear up from 11h00.
Distance changes as follows – races 6,7,8 will now be run over 1450m.
All other distances remain as is.
Voluntary scratchings close at 08h30.
