Vaal Racing Today

First off at 12h30

Racing takes place on the Vaal Classic course this afternoon and eight races are carded.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and the first is due off at 12h30.

Secret Recipe from the Mike and Adam Azzie stable takes her place in Race 3.

She showed very good improvement in her last start over this course and distance. She set the pace but was outrun by Have A Party.

Diego De Gouveia retains the ride and if confirming her recent improvement, she should go one better in this field.

Recently married Robyn Klaasen saddles Rain Or Shine in the lucky last. He tried hard in his last start over this course and distance but found one too good in the form of Tizona.

He is having his peak run today and will be cherry-ripe. Chase Maujean retains the ride and with a bit of luck in running, he can go one better.

Please note Denis Schwarz, Craig Zackey, J P van der Merwe and Jarryd Penny are not riding today.

  • The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h30
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the second race at 13h05
  • The Pick 6 starts in the third race at 13h40
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fourth race at 14h15
  • The second Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h50
