Vaal Classic Today

The Bipot starts in the first at 12h50

An eight-race programme is scheduled on the Vaal Classic course this afternoon.

Racing looks to be competitive, but there are one or two horses that could have some value about them.

The first Race is off at 12h50 while the meeting closes at 16h45.

My Sugar Baby who takes her place in Race 4 looks to be the best bet on the programme.

Jimmy The Rich writes that she found the 1200m of her last start on the sharp side for her.

The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight produced a promising debut effort over this course and distance and if repeating that effort, she should be the one they all have to beat.

Major Return may have found the 2400m of his last start too far for him. He moved up very well that day, but didn’t quite go on with his effort. The 5-year-old gelding has won over today’s course and distance in the past.

He takes a drop in class and with Marco van Rensburg back in the saddle, he should get back to winning ways.

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
