The Vaal hosts nine races today at the end of a short week in advance of the Women’s Day public holiday tomorrow.

The first race is off at 12h20 with the Bipot commencing at 12h55.

Alec Laird – saddles Jungle Book in third

The false rail is set at zero on the back straight and 12m on the bend, with a 12m spur at the 600m mark. False rails will be zero from 1600m outside rails to pull up area.
