The Vodacom Durban July reserve runners have been scratched in terms of the conditions of acceptance with the original top sixteen runners standing their ground.

Readytogorightnow, the 2012 winner Pomodoro, Master Sabina and Dylan’s Promise are the four horses that were taken out this morning.

The false rail will be at 4m on the turf track and a reminder for punters that races 1,2, 10 and 11 will be run on the polytrack, where a 2m spur will be in operation.

Saturday’s weather has been forecast as sunny with a 28 degree temperature making it ‘pleasantly warm.’

A 12km/h southerly win has been forecast.

The first race is off at 11h25.
