Unite On Day 3 Of The Cape Summer Festival Of Champions

First due off @ 12h35

Hollywoodbets Kenilworth plays host to a nine-race programme this afternoon. Race 7 on the card is the Gr2 Cape Merchants which is run over 1200m.

There is a R250 000 carryover for Jackpot 1 with a likely pool of R1 million.

Don’t forget about the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge with the first due off at 12h35.

Call To Unite from the Justin Snaith stable takes his place in Race 5 and he is the best bet on the programme.

He was super-impressive when winning his maiden at the third time of asking over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville.

He raced from a handy position, quickened up well and was geared down in the run down to the line.

The son of Vercingetorix takes on stronger, but he has class about him and should be up to the task at hand.

Trainer Adam Marcus sends out All About Al in Race 8. He finished 0.3 lengths behind Masked Vigilante last time.

He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating them in the run down to the line.

He has won twice, finished second twice and third three times from 11 starts over this course and distance.

Gareth Wright retains the ride and the combination will be mowing down the frontrunners.
