The move marks the end of a protracted media rights battle

Angelic Light wins McEwen StakesAustralian racing television station TVN (ThoroughVisioN) will be shut down after shareholders from New South Wales and Victoria agreed to dissolve the board.

It is believed TVN will go off the air at the end of January, and staff are expected to be paid in excess of their entitlements.

The move marks the end of a protracted media rights battle between Racing New South Wales and Racing Victoria.
