No permission has been granted for the action, called for by the EFF and which is apparently aimed at disrupting the race meeting scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
The Sporting Post has learnt that Phumelela Executive Vee Moodley was flying back from the Vodacom Durban July in Durban to assist in negotiations.
The race meeting is currently delayed.
